Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Framewrite (framewrite.cc and app.framewrite.cc), including the web app and API. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Framewrite. Questions:contact@framewrite.cc.
The service
Framewrite turns video and audio into documents and transcripts, and offers related tools such as live transcription, document chat, and agents. Some of this runs in your browser; some of it sends your content to third-party providers, as described in ourPrivacy Policy.
Your account
You sign in with Google. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your API keys secret. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. Tell us if you think your account or a key has been compromised.
Your content
You keep ownership of the videos, audio, and other material you upload ("Your Content") and of the documents and transcripts generated from it. You give us a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Content, including to our service providers, only as needed to operate the service for you.
You promise that you have the rights needed to upload Your Content and to have it processed, including any consent required from people who appear or speak in it (recordings of other people can be subject to consent laws where you live). Generated output may be inaccurate or incomplete -- review it before relying on it.
Acceptable use
Don't use Framewrite to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- upload content you don't have the right to process, or that is unlawful or abusive;
- probe, overload, or disrupt the service, or bypass usage limits or billing;
- reverse engineer the service or resell access to it without our written permission;
- share your account or API keys with others.
We may suspend or terminate access, and remove content, if we reasonably believe these terms are being violated.
Pricing and payment
Framewrite is pay-as-you-go: you top up a wallet through Stripe and are charged per unit of media processed, as shown on our pricing page at the time you submit a job. There are no subscriptions. If a job fails on our side, the charge for it is refunded to your wallet. Otherwise, wallet top-ups and completed jobs are non-refundable except where the law requires. We may change prices going forward; changes don't affect jobs already submitted.
Retention
Documents are kept for a limited time after processing (currently 7 days) and then deleted. Download anything you need before then. See thePrivacy Policy for details.
Google Drive
If you connect Google Drive, you authorize us to save documents you choose to your Drive. You can disconnect at any time from Settings, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Our property
Framewrite, its software, branding, and design belong to us. These terms don't give you any rights to them beyond using the service as intended.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Framewrite running but don't promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may change, add, or remove features. We may update these terms; if the change matters we'll update the date above, and continuing to use Framewrite afterward means you accept the update.
Disclaimer
Framewrite is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and accuracy of generated output, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Framewrite won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Termination
You can stop using Framewrite at any time, and can ask us to delete your account by emailing contact@framewrite.cc. We may suspend or end your access for violating these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) do.
